From the ’1969 Swinging Herd’ broadcast. The band looks really “hip” and thankfully sound even better. Sal Nistico on tenor, Harry Hall trumpet, Bob Burgess trombone, Arthur Harper bass, and the great Bill Chase trumpet. In fact, this is one very strong trumpet section.. Bill Byrne, Galen Jeter, Bill Chase, John Madrid, and Harry Hall.

Woody and the band perform some of his greatest hits, including Woodchoppers Ball, Four Brothers, Caldonia, and his theme song Blue Flame. Pianist Nat Pierce is the featured guest.
